After the choir we were treated to 'International Snacks' - from Europe, Australia & Korea... There is an International Bible College ( Cornerstone) in the village so students provided some of the food.
In the area there are about 8 (i think?) house churches in the network. They meet in homes once a week or so. The meetings are informal, flexible, non-institutional... they focus on Jesus, his teachings found in the bible, community and everyone has been given gift(s) that are used in church. Remember church is not a building BUT the people (of God)...and we need to get the church out there in the world!!!
While i was in Holland i was able to discuss with people in the House church movement. Very interesting. I'd advise the book 'Houses That Change The World' by Wolfgang Simson
